The Waterfall at Hampton Cove

The Waterfall at Hampton Cove

If Golf is not your hobby and you enjoy the water, Huntsville will not disappoint. The Tennessee River runs along the southern border of the Huntsville city limits. Ditto Landing is the marina in south Huntsville. It is great facility to enjoy the River anytime. To the west the River flows into Lake Wheeler. As the river flows to the east, Lake Guntersville, about 45 minutes southeast of Huntsville, is the largest lake in Alabama.

Formed in the late 1930s by the construction of the Guntersville Dam, it effectively turned the towns of Guntersville and Scottsboro into lakefront havens. What was once disused riverbank turned into lush lakefront and lakeview property with breathtaking views of some of North Alabama’s most beautiful countryside. And Jackson and Marshall Counties became magnets for vacationers, outdoor enthusiasts, and lucky homeowners seeking a little piece of heaven to call their own.

Golf, boating, watersports, fishing, some of the best duck hunting you’ll find anywhere—a home on Lake Guntersville offers exclusive access to all these activities and more. Whether you’re looking for a home for your own family’s enjoyment or as a rental investment, owning property here pays dividends.
